I found the place is now getting more working couples, I have only a couple of times found it noisy usually on New Year or Australia Day. Parking can be hard for friends. But your own space is secure. Loved living there. Didn't want to move.

Old management were fantastic, the place was kept in immaculate condition, new management (star) are hopless, gardens are looking like crap and as the centre garden/ pool area is the complex biggest asset, they need to do some work on it. Apartments are 8 years old now and are starting to look dated. Soundproofing between apartments is pretty good.

The new management has made the place unbearable. The property manager is a tyrant and on a power trip. On Fri/Sat/Sun nights, as well as warm weekends and public holidays, you should expect excessively loud drunken fools yelling out such witticisms as "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi" repeatedly - as long as they do this before 10pm it is apparently acceptable. Just yesterday I found a condom wrapper thrown on my terrace, have had an inconsiderate/slightly stupid neighbour think that it was appropriate to pour dirty bleach on my herb garden (after she bleaches her balcony) and, this morning, woke to find someone's vomit in the garden. However, the property manager seems to concern herself more with hanging more signs up, writing weekly notices (displayed in the front door) and other frivolous matters. As a result, I am moving in a couple of weeks.

I lived in A block for 4 years and recently moved to F block. I'm not a party/niteclub person, just a city professional wanting to live close to work and I love it. Pros: Walking distance to some fabulous restaurants, secure parking, modern kitchens and appliances, extra large balconies. Cons: Paid parking/very little street parking for friends and family, just one car space for the majority of units, moving out or or into all blocks except A block will be a long move because removalists or yourself will have to walk around 100 metres with your stuff through the car park underground.

Lived in A-Block. I loved my time in Cathedral Place. The pool is fantastic, as was my overly large balcony. Management on the most were helpful. Location was excellent, right between the China town and the City.

It's a great place to live if you're young and want to party and meet other residents, not so great if you're a city professional looking for peace and quiet in the city.
